I just stumbled upon the only backup (it was a test dex) of the pokedex's database in the world which was current enough to have complete RS TM/HM data. With that, I was able to restore the pokedex's RS TM/HM data. The pokedex's TM/HM data is complete again. ^_^

I've uploaded version 1.4.5a of the pokédex online. This version fixes numerous bugs, several inaccuracies and replaces the RS TM/HM data that was lost for 36 pokemon. A quick count reveals that 48 are still missing. I hope to recode data for those on the weekend.

By the way, I wouldn't have done this until the weekend but I really want to see the data that was lost replaced.

The Pokemon Center in NYC will be holding a Pokemon Colosseum tournment on May 15th. Pokemon.com has the details.

It seems somehow an old array of data missing RS TM/HM data for 70+ pokemon over wrote my newer array with complete RS TM/HM data. There is no backup, no quick way to fix it, this is irreversible. -_-

I will have set aside a few hours on the weekend to code it over again. -_-

I forgot to mention this a few days ago... The archive is up to date.

Finally, the pokédex has new content. Pokédex version 1.4.5 is online, it adds complete Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green Move Tutor data.

Revision n of the pokedex has been uploaded to the site. The only change to the pokedex in this revision is a slight change to the query the pokedex uses to prevent the pokedex from wasting space in MySQL's query cache.

A while ago, psychomaster sent me a list of berries for the site. It is quite extensive so it is going to take a while to place into a format that I can use on the berries page. That leads me to why I'm mentioning this. I noticed some inaccuracies and mistakes (which lead to partial berry descriptions) in the current berries page, those are now fixed.

I'm not sure when I'll have the data he gave me encorporated into the page, I'll be sure to post an update here when I do.

I've uploaded revision m of the pokedex, this version places the search engine into a function. Not much to get excited about but it makes it easier to have move based searching in the future.

By the way, the episode summaries section is not the only thing I was referring to two days ago, there are more things coming.

For quite a while now, I have been coding a content management system, which intergrades with the site and makes it possible (and quite easy) to have staff members and today, I uploaded the new CMS powered episode summaries section. What does this mean? This means that I am now looking for volunteer staff members to write episode summaries for the site. Anyone who I accept must write good episode summaries. If you want to help and feel that you meet the qualifications, please email me.

By the way, the episodes listed in the episode summaries section can now be arranged by number, name or date. Additionally, I wrote a summary of the episode that debuted in the US today, which I haven't done in over 3 years! ^_^

If anyone noticed, there is a new version of the pokedex online, revision l. This was a few changes (around 35) to utilize more advanced coding methods that I did not know when I coded most of the dex. The pokedex should now be a little faster although you probably will not notice a difference as it is in nanoseconds. ^_^;;

This is not one of the things that I posted about two days ago; the things I mentioned two days ago are much bigger than a change of coding practices. No guarentees but if I can manage it, I should have at least one online later today.

I know I have not been doing many updates for a while now; school has taken almost all of my time, I barely have time to go on the message boards. The first thing I would like to say is that I have had in the pipeline things to improve the site which I've been coding in my spare time. I want to keep what they are a surprise but I will say this, you guys can expect the improvements in weeks, not months.

Now for the news, Pokémon Forever has made two different news reports. One is about pokemon tv shows on GBA and the other is that the first pokémon amusement park is being built in Japan. Hopefully they will build one in the states as well, hopefully nearby the NYC Pokémon Center. :)

In the TCG, Pokémon-e EX: Hidden Legends will be released in June.

I know many people who come to this site love the games and I have some great news regarding that as well. We all know that on May 14, 2004, Pokémon Colosseum will be released in Europe. On May 14, 2004 in England, a Pokémon Colosseum Mega Pak is going to be released containing a Nintendo GameCube, Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon Box, GCN-GBA Link Cable, and a Memory Card 251. Also in England, there will be a Pokémon Colosseum BattleMaster 2004 tournment. There is a Pokémon Colosseum BattleMaster 2004 website with the details. In the USA, there is going to be a Pokémon Space Party at the Houston space center May 29th, 2004 through June 6th, 2004.

In the pokémon movies department, Jirachi Wish Maker will come out on June 1st 2004. In Japan, a 2nd trailer for the 7th pokémon movie has been released.

I think that is almost everything I've missed recently. By the way, keep checking Pokémon Fan Universe for the improvements I mentioned. ^_^
