12/31/2002: Since I am on a roll of under the hood improvements to the site, why not make some additions as well? If you have any ideas for some, email the idea(s) to me.
 
12/31/2002: I converted a more crisp pokéball background to a png format and replaced the older one with it. You can choose it via the theme selector or just click here if you want to see it. I think it is an improvement. What do you think, give me some feedback via email.
 
12/30/2002: I am currently working to convert the majority of the site's image files to the png format. So if any images are brokén for a few minutes don't worry, chances are they are being converted.
 
12/29/2002: I have some news, the 3rd E Card set will be called Sky Ridge. I heard that Pokémon Online should be anounced sometime on January 20. Also yahoo has released it's most searched for words list for 2002. Pokémon ranked #2. I think it will be #1 next year when new pokémon games come out and are anounced.
 
12/26/2002: I just noticed that game critics online are getting very jealous of pokémon's sucess. Who would think they would get jealous of all people. I expected more from them. Anyway after reading an article one wrote, I found out a new Pokémon Game called Pokémon Online (for GCN) should be anounced soon. It should be one of the first games that use the online adapters which came out recently. I can't wait. ^_^
 
12/26/2002: Now that I have extra time every single day I can work on the site more often. There have been a ton of rumors and many are still going around the internet. So I made a rumors page to shed some light on the ones I can think of at the moment. If you know about any rumors that are not on there, email them to me.
 
12/26/2002: I have some bad news. Due to lack of interest I am closing the message board. It amazes me at how we get well over 200 visits from different people daily but not one bothered going to the board. I guess people aren't interested in message boards. If anyone on the old board wants to contact me, you can always email me. When there is a demand for it I will bring back the message board.
 

12/25/2002: It has been about 23 hours since my last update. That is just too long to go without an update. So anyway I have some new RS information. Pokémon RS will retail in the US for $34.95 and the offical boxart has been released:

12/23/2002: I added a list of the cards in the Aquamoplis set to the TCG Lists page.
 
12/20/2002: I just added text to the index page which any browser that supports css should not view. It is just an indicator (it will let you know if you see it) if your browser does not support CSS. You should not see it but if you do please refresh your browser and/or clear your cache, if it disappears it is a false alarm.
 

12/20/2002: I decided to do some research on layouts since I wanted everyone to be able to choose from a list of possible layouts that they view the site with. So now on the sidebar there is a Theme Selector, you can use it currently to switch backgrounds. I plan to set it up so there is a back link to the page that you used it from. Enjoy!

By the way, consider this as part of the extensive layout enhancements I mentioned in the roadmap for next year.
 
12/19/2002: A while back I mentioned a future php pokédex. I have been doing some work on it over the past few days and it has 251 different pokémon in it. Hopefully it will have all 386 when I am done with it sometime next year.
 
12/16/2002: I just noticed some people were still visiting the old site at homestead. I just placed redirects on the most popular pages still being visited on it. Now hopefully everyone will get the pokémon information they should be getting online. ^_^

12/15/2002: I recall stating that there would not be any significant changes to Pokémon Fan Universe until next year. Forget I said that. I just had a surge of inspiration. I was listening to a Pokémon Sound Track and that made me think, why in the world throughout all of pokémon history no website has ever had a section about it. Well that must change. Expect a section on Pokémon Music to be online in a few days.
 

12/15/2002: Yesterday I said that I would make a minor change to the site so it is coded correctly. Well I just made the update. If you see this page correctly with the same exact font and font size congladulations, your browser is displaying it the right way. If you don't, clear out your cache and then hold down Ctrl + F5. That should fix any display errors.
 
12/14/2002: I retyped the Legendary Dogs page and added an Articles section.
 
12/14/2002: According to an article I just read; I made over the last 3 months 255 pages the wrong way. I was supposed to take into consideration that the person viewing the site does not have a browser supporting CSS. It was a minor mistake but I can safely say 99% of all websites have made this mistake too. Some time today or tomorrow I plan to redo the site the right way. So if you see anything unusal about the site; clear out your cache and also hit Ctrl + F5 and you should view the site correctly.
 
12/14/2002: I just reformated my computer's hard drive and reinstalled Windows, so until I save up enough for dreamweaver, I can run the trial for another 30 days. So I made a page on Pokémon Happiness. Enjoy!
 
12/10/2002: I just noticed the yugioh topics on the same sites I mentioned eariler. Apparently no one cares about Pokémon's Competition. ^_^
 
12/10/2002: Apparently, virtually everyone at sites that cover all games and game systems are going to get Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. In topics about Pokémon RS on their message boards, I haven't found anyone who is not planning to get it.
 
12/9/2002: I doubt I will make any significant updates to the site for the reminder of the year (22 days until Next Year). (Expect news within 12-24 hours of when nintendo releases it) So I am making a roadmap for the site by remodeling the Future of Pokémon Fan Universe page. I am still working on it so expect it to change over the next few days.
 
12/7/2002: It's been a while since I last added something to the site. My dreamweaver trial has expired and I don't feel like reformatting right now so it is difficult to add to the site. I plan to purchase it sometime next month. Anyway now for the update. I made a Strongest Pokémon page. I could add a bit to it but it's difficult without dreamweaver.
 
12/4/2002: I have been very busy lately and there hasn't been much news lately. I think you guys must have been wondering about the Section of the Month. I decided to let Crystal stay up since Section of the Month was made during last month so the Pokémon Crystal section only got 1/3 of a month on it.
