Is anyone here familiar with the Make a Wish foundation? They try to give children who will die young a wish. There is an article on Pokemon.com about this: http://pokemon.com/events/index.asp?articleID=449

Two days ago, when I was at Toys R Us, I used the $10 off on the E Card Reader coupon I received to (obviously) get an E Card Reader. Today, I have been going crazy going through (and E Card Reading) several hundred (including duplicates) expedition cards (they are mine). I have updated the Pokemon-e Expedition Card list. It is now at least dozen times more complete. Enjoy! By the way, if anyone is concerned that you won't get to see pictures of the coupon, don't worry, I have a spare which I will scan (along with the Eon Ticket) as soon as I procure access to a scanner.

I hate to make this exclusive story brief but I am extremely busy developing the pokedex. Here are some shots of the pikachu car from Nintendo's Eon ticket tour: The trunk is modified to have a Television and stereo speaker system. ![]() The front is fashioned to look like a pikachu. ![]() It even has pikachu's stripes on its roof and pikachu's tail on the back door to the trunk. Not to mention the ears. ![]() The custom license plate deserves special mention. ![]() You can see the interior in this shot. The exposure isn't right (I tried to do it manually on my computer, this is the result) but at least you get an idea of the interior. ![]() Here is a slightly better shot. I took it from the exterior; it isn't bad considering my experience in taking pictures of cars: ![]() The rear right wheel deserves special mention. All 4 wheels have different pokemon stickers on them but for bandwidth purposes, I will only feature one: ![]() I hope you guys enjoy these exclusive pictures. Now I need to get back to work on the pokedex.

At the Toys R Us stores where the Eon Ticket summer tour is being held, Nintendo's employees are giving out Eon Tickets and free Pokemon Deluxe Figure Collection toys. You may take as many as you would like. They have to make their supply, for the day, last until 4 so don't abuse the privilege! Later, I will see about getting some pictures of the Pikachu beetle online. I would make some scans of the cool things (such as my new Eon Ticket E Card) they gave me but my scanner is offline at the moment so I am unable to.

I never thought I would be writing one of those, "get more out of whatever" articles. Anyway, I think it is about time to release a feature that has been in the pokedex for a while but has not had an option to use it displayed; primarily because I can't think of a nice way to display the option. If you go to the pokedex, then add "?display=1" (minus the quotes) to the end of the url. Here is an example of an url with this addition: http://www.pokemonfanuniverse.com/pokedex/?display=1 If the url already has ?something=whatever in url, use "&display=1" at the end instead. Here is an example: http://www.pokemonfanuniverse.com/pokedex/?dexNo=1&display=1 That will (if you did it right) make the pokedex give you only RBY data. If you change the number at the end to 2, it will give you GSC data only. If you change the number at the end to 3, it will give you RS data only. I hope you guys enjoy this "get more out of Pokemon Fan Universe's Pokedex" update. Enjoy! Note: You can view the RS pokemon entries in RBY/GSC modes but they will have little to no data and that does not make them obtainable since they did not exist when the games were made. Same for GSC in RBY.

You can find details and release dates on the offical website. The url to it is: http://www.liveandunleashed.co.uk/ I wish everyone in England have a great time. ^_^ |

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July yesterday. Anyway, here is some news. On July 28th, 2003 Nintendo will ship a Torchic GBA SP in the US (anyone remember the one that came out April 25th in Japan?). It will cost $99.95 and in the US it is exclusive to pokemon-center.com and the Pokemon Center in NYC.

I found out something interesting. At GameFAQs, members can vote twice, most pokemon fans (that I know of) would not bother sign up on a site that is not dedicated to pokemon. So I doubt Pikachu is getting many double votes. -_-
Posted by: Shining Arcanine on July 2, 2003
GameFAQs is having a poll. Pikachu vs Fox McCloud, obviously there aren't many pokemon fans at GameFAQs... So please go there and vote Pikachu: http://www.gamefaqs.com/

Ah, the joys of receiving emails. Suggestions (which I listen to), praise, complaints, and viruses. I have been receiving an unusually high amount of viruses in my email lately. Ironically, they are all one virus, the W32.SoBig.E@mm virus. Guys, here is a removal tool, please download it and then run it on your computer(s): http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.sobig.e@mm.removal.tool.php Be sure to keep your antivirus software updated.
