Why is Charizard a good card?

A lot of people say charizard is a bad card, but it is a great card. The MMF format makes it even better. It's only flaw is it may take a while to get and power up but that can be fixed with a few combos and tricks. The good thing is that in MMF all of the Level 2 Cards can take forever to power up. Personally, I like a to fully evolve Charizard but you can skip Charmelon. Here is how to do that. Here are the Cards you need:

2 Charmander
2 Charizard
1 Pokémon Breeder

I would recommend:

3 Charmander
2 Charizard
3 Pokémon Breeder

You could use the extra breeder(s) to get other stage 2 pokémon early.

The Charizard evolvotion line can run in any deck. Since: Charmander's Scatch can use any Energy, Charmelon's Slash can use any energy, and Charizard's Pokémon Power "Energy Burn" can make Fire Spin use any energy.

You could also use Double Colorless Energy in conjunction with Energy Burn to make one Double Colorless Energy be the only energy discarded. Notice I underlined Double, as in 2. Somepeople think it would only conistute as one energy but after energy burn it can be used as two as long as both energies are used at the same time.

Here is a stragey that works well with Charizard. Keep Charmander on your bench and keep (make sure your active pokémon has energy first) attaching energy. Then evolve it into Charmelon (or Charizard with breeder). If you evloved it into Charmelon you could keep attaching energies, attack with it, or both. Then evolve it into Charizard when you get one. I like you keep Charmelon out without evolving it somethimes to save energy and dish out beatings. Then when Charmelon has few little hp left (like 30 or less) or is about to be knocked out, I evolve it.

Charizard is a great card especially when it comes to hp. It is one of the only two cards that has 120 HP. So it is not easy to knock it out. It's attack does 100 damage. That is the most any attack does (without including weakness). It could knock out blastoise or gyarados in one hit. It has fighting resistance which is uncommon and there are many fighting decks.
