Pokémon Crystal

Pokémon Crystal is the squel to Pokémon Gold and Silver in it you can play as a boy (Cal) or a girl (Minaki) Pokémon trainer. It was released August 1st. There game is an improvement of the graphics, now you can sort of see the pokémon attack another pokémon for real (click here to see some).

Minaki is the first female trainer in the pokémon games. Her backpack is pink and Cal's backpack is blue in the game.

There are some cool new features in pokémon crystal that aren't in the existing games. Here is a list of some of them:

-Pokémon Crystal is compatible with Pokémon Stadium 2.

-Lugia and Ho-oh are at level 60.

-There is new music when you battle the legendary dogs in the wild.

-There is a new area called the battle tower.

-Some people will give you evolution stones if they have your phone number.

I mentioned some pretty cool new features in pokémon crystal eariler. Unfortunately some features I didn't mention are in japan only. -_- Anyway even without them you get some pretty cool stuff. I will let you find out whatelse you will get in pokémon crystal on your own. What you don't get is the ability trade pokémon and/or battle people far away over a cell phone with the Mobile Adapter. It works with Game Boy Color/Advance only. The Mobile Adapter and Pokémon Crystal released in Japan on December 14, 2000. The other feature is the ability to catch celebi in game.
