Welcome to an overview of what is in Pokémon Crystal.

There are not one but two new trainers in Pokémon Crystal. The female trainer Miniki (Japanese Name) has a pink backpack. The male trainer Cal's (Japanese Name) backpack is blue in the game.

Just to clear up any rumors Pokémon Crystal is just a polished up version ofPokémon Gold and Silver. I found out some areas have different colors than in Pokémon Gold and Silver like the Ice Path for example. The Ice Path will be much brighter.

Pokémon Crystal is compatible with the transfer pak so you can upload your pokémon to Pokémon Stadium 2. I Lugia and Ho-oh are in Crystal and are at level 60.

There is a new area near Olivine city. It will be called the Battle Tower. In it you will be able to battle trainers and select the levels they are at. If you beat several trainers in a row you will win prizes like protein.

Now, when you cross the border to a route or town it will say the name of it at the bottom of the screen.

Ho-oh is extremely harder catch. You need to capture Raikou, Suciune, Entei, and beat the elite four in order to make the staircase to the upper levels in the tin tower appear. If you accidently knock out one on the lengendary dogs you will never catch Ho-oh. Also there is another challange after Ho-oh in the ruins of alph. You will have to have Ho-oh in order to get into the fourth secret room. Suicune is now easier to catch because after you get the clear bell you get to battle it in the tin tower and it won't run away.
