Pokémon Emerald
Pokémon Emerald is the squel to Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
It is poised to be released in Japan on 9/16/2004 and will have a new deoxys form.
From what I understand, another change in Pokémon Emerald is that trainers do not stand next to each other to signify a double battle. They can now be standing apart.
Screenshots

- This is the new title screen.

- It seems the hero in Pokémon Emerald will have a green head band.

- It looks like the house you start in is going to be determined by the gender of the hero.

- Look familiar? It is meteor falls. The scenery changed a bit. Look, the hero has a green backpack. Is that a giant tree in the background?

- Not to mention the placement of the pokeballs in a double battle has changed.

- It looks like Team Magma is now after the space station too.

- This scene looks familiar? Is it not the scene where the team you are facing realizes that it is wrong?

- Judging by this, both Groudon and Kyogre were awakened. This suggest that you will not be teaming up with one team to fight another but fight both while they fight amongst themselves as well.

- Cool! We get more detail and get thunder and lightning as well.

- Just look at that detail. Also, this might be a pokémon battle.

- This is new, I do not remember seeing this in Ruby or Sapphire.

- This is definately a new area. But to what?

- It seems that there are new flowers and trees. Are those flags in the background?

- We get a better look at the flags. That girl might be a trainer.

- I am not sure what is below the hero but I definiately remember that bicycle. ^_^

- This looks like a battle dome.

- This is probably the inside. I wonder what the monitors are for. By the way, there looks like there are two areas.

- A new select screen!

- I am not sure what this is. It is some kind of room through. Is that a new table and are those new chairs? That thing at the side almost looks like a chalk board.

- A 16 player match up. It would be nice if this was a new mutiplayer capability but I doubt that.

- This looks like what could be the screen you see before you battle the computer in this matchup.

- I suppose this battle dome is called the "Battle Frontier." I guess babelfish got the translation right this time.

- If Babelfish got the translation right, this new area is called the Battle Tunnel. I doubt it correctly translated it through.

- This looks like the inside. I wonder why GameFreak put so many gold plated pokeballs on pedestals.

- Are those three doors?

- Hi Mr. Pokémon, long time no see! Is that a Kirlia?

- If this was more complex, I would call it a maze.

- Look a new Pikachu graphic! It looks almost like Pikachu is ready to battle...

- ... then again, I suppose it could be an animation judging by the old RS sprite.

- I have had enough of this pokémon from Pokémon Colosseum and its character Minor. B.

- It is animated too. ^_^;;
