Welcome to the Mew Infomation page. Here you can find out information on Mew. I made this page because of the results from a poll. I made this page over two years ago (the site isn't a year old I know, I made this page... the information on this page before the site was created).

Mew's personality: Mew is a very kind and gentle Poké'mon. Also Mew does not like fighting.
Mew's Rarity: Mew as many people know is the most Valuable and Rare Poké'mon. Since it is the most exclusive pokémon few people around the world have seen it.There are only two ways to get Mew is to win the contest that was in Nintendo Power February 1999 and at pokémon parties. Also there might will be future contests.
Mew can be found the Rainbow Cloud stage in Pokémon Snap. To get access to the Rainbow cloud stage you have to find the six secondary Pics, One is in each stage. To get a picture of Mew hit it with a Pester Ball (but, if Mew in it's shell you have to hit it six times to remove the shell then it will be once after that to remove the shell).
If you want to see Mew on a TV Screen you should see the movie "Mewtwo Strikes Back" (The American Version). You could also see the new video: "Mewtwo Returns" if you saw the movie already.
Mew is not in the game Poké'mon. The only way to get Mew is to win a Mew Giveaway. If you are wondering about getting it by using game shark or game genie your game will not work with Poké'mon Stadium.
There is no mew in pokémon gold and Silver or crystal versions, the only way to get mew is to have nintendo put it on your game.
*Mew can only be obtained by getting it from nintendo or trading for one nintendo gave away. So if you heard or think you know another way to get it. It is a rumor or a potential way to erase your game.
