Pokémon Red and Blue were the first pokémon games released in the US roughly 4 years ago (December 1998). They don't have great graphics but they are still very important if you want to collect the orignal 150 pokémon for Pokémon Yellow or Pokémon Gold and Silver or Pokémon Crystal. In Japan Pokémon Blue is called Pokémon Green. Pokémon Red and Blue are the Pokémon games that started it all. Plus they have some pokémon that you can't get in the other games so you need to have them if you want to obtain the orignal 150 pokémon.
